The Story of Yamalogam
During the COVID lockdown, when the world went silent and streets were empty, a small group of friends opened a portal into another world. We called it Yamalogam.
Inspired by the legendary Tamil public server Boologam, we tried to build our own realm. We had almost zero knowledge about Minecraft servers, plugins or hosting. We crashed it, broke it, fixed it the wrong way and laughed through the chaos.
Then lockdown ended. College, work and life pulled everyone in different directions. One by one, the players vanished. The portal closed, and Yamalogam slowly faded into memory.
Four years later, that memory refused to die. With new hosting, new domains and a little more experience, the realm has been revived from the ashes.
Yamalogam is more than a Minecraft server. It’s a tribute to late-night calls, stupid plugin experiments, broken spawns and the feeling of having a second home online – especially for the Tamil Minecraft community.
